Eyebrows Threading

EYEBROWS THREADING
Eyebrows threading is also known as epilation. defined as “Epilation is the process in which hairs are removed from the skin through a thread.” In an effort to smooth looks and also to preserve proper health, people have found all  manner of crazy ways to remove the hair from our bodies (lice was no joke back in the  day). For example, ancient Egyptians would use razor, sharp seashells and even shark teeth to chip away hair at one point in time, which TBH sounds like a serious gnarly incarnated hair formula.

Threading is a method of hair removal that, because of the tool used: thread, gets its name. It is mostly a cotton thread, but often salons use polyester or silk today. Threading is really an art, and it's hard not to be impressed the second you see a practitioner in  action. A piece of thread is effectively doubled and bent, and carefully rolled over the desired  region to remove hair. Think of it as highly accurate hair removal.

THREADING is a method of hair removal originating in India and Central Asia. A thin cotton or polyester thread is doubled throughout threading, and twisted. At the follicle stage, it is then rubbed over regions of unnecessary scalp, plucking the scalp. Threading will extract small rows of hair, unlike tweezing, where individual hairs are taken out one at a time.it is opposite to the waxing process. Eyebrow styles come and go, but if you like your brows with a smooth and tidy arch or some retro Shield Boldness, nearly all of us are in need of a little shaping and occasionally cleaning up.
WAX VS THREADING

In comparison to eyebrow waxing, the advantages cited for eyebrow threading are that it has more direct control over eyebrow forming, and that it is gentler on the face. A downside is that it can be uncomfortable when many hairs are cut at once, but if performed properly, i.e. with the right pressure, this can be reduced.

"Threading is very precise and allows our specialists to have greater control over which hairs are removed,"

IDEA AREAS FOR THREADING Since the hair that develops there is fine and sparse, threading is almost solely used for the ears. Since the procedure allows for more precision than any other method of hair removal, it is particularly common for eyebrow shaping. It's even fine on the upper lip for tiny quantities of hair. Hair appears to be too long and too abundant on the rest of the body. Threading helps taking all the hairs out from the root.

DOES THREADING HURT? Brief answer: yes. While some argue that threading is less painful than tweezing or waxing because it's easy and doesn't require tugging on the scalp, the fact is that any level of pain would entail some sort of hair removal that draws the hair up from the root. Uh, sorry.

Types of threading: There are different types of threading actually depending upon the usage of thread.

1. Mouth Method
2. Hand Method
3. Neck Method

MOUTH METHOD Users using this procedure hold one end of the thread in their mouth and throw their heads back to remove specific hairs, similar to the neck process.

HAND METHOD This is also known as figure eight method. This technique involves using both hands for extraction to direct a looped thread through fur. Fingers are exposed on one side while fingers close on the other, producing a thread tightening and extracting of the desired hair.

NECK METHOD Artists tie half of the looped thread around their neck or shoulder region using the shoulder technique to remove hair by tossing their head back.

IS THREADING RIGHT FOR ME? Threading is certainly the way to go if you're looking for a more accurate solution to shaping your brows or shaving upper lip hair.
